A Great Place to Cycle

Six Different Bike Routes

In 2010 New Kent launched a unique bike trail system for avid bicyclists. New Kent is the first county in Virginia to have fully mapped and signed bicycle routes.

New Kent County welcomes cyclists with 6-different bike routes, all well marked with color coded arrows.

These routes vary in length from 15- to 100-miles and begin and end at the New Kent Visitors and Commerce Center, 7324 Vineyards Parkway at I-64 Exit 211.

The Visitors and Commerce Center offers an indoor area to relax as well as water fountains and restrooms. The Visitors and Commerce Center is open 7 days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day and is open Monday-Friday all remaining times of the year.
