Located halfway between Richmond and Williamsburg, Colonial Downs hosts live thoroughbred racing on two nationally renowned surfaces: Our Secretariat Turf Course, the widest turf course in North America at 180 feet wide and our 1 1/4 mile dirt track, second in length to only the world-famous Belmont Park surface. We are proud to offer world-class horse racing as well as 600 games, live and simulcast wagering, and a variety of food and bar options to entertain your guests.

New Kent Forestry Center
The Virginia Department of Forestry’s New Kent Conference Center (NKCC) is conveniently located between Richmond and Williamsburg. The NKCC is available for meetings, birthday parties, family reunions, retirement parties, or weddings. The center combines a modern meeting facility with 15 lodging rooms.

Cumberland Estate
The Cumberland Estate conference room is located right above our beautiful, three-bedroom Carriage House, which overlooks the Pamunkey River.
Meeting space comes equipped with a 12-seat conference table and additional, six-person seating area. If extra tables and seating are required, additional space can be allocated. Our conference room also includes a projector, two screens, conference phone and complimentary and secure Wi-Fi.
